Save the Historic Mason City YWCA!

Hi! We're Elisha and Susanne of 2 Artists, LLC. We fell in love with an old building that has an amazing history of community activity in Northern Iowa going back to 1918. The building was built by suffragettes championing the rights of women to develop themselves as individuals and pursue careers in the various fields open to them. We propose to reuse the entire structure for arts programming, studio space, and residential apartments, in a creative environment that includes a wellness aspect.

This building needs a lot of help. We are all-in, working onsite to stabilize the internal drainage system and other compromised infrastructural elements. We are building a team of dedicated individuals and working closely with the city government to move forward. Please join our team. Your donation will directly impact the success of the project.

All funds from this fundraiser will be used to revitalize the building. Your help is much appreciated! We hope to see you at our first open house and fundraiser on Friday, October 29th, 2021.
